An interesting Carl Sagan stone marker that looks like a leaf & a reptilian hand.

The lizards, iguana & gecko are among several life forms with reptilian or tetrapod like hands. The_Dragons_of_Eden by Carl_Sagan (1977) The stone dedicated to Carl Sagan is in the Celebrity Path of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Instead of a human hand, it has a 5 sided leaf that looks more like a reptilian hand than a 5 fingered hand. Are humans an offshoot from apes or just a parallel mammalian development? Humans have a reptilian section in the brain. So does that mean humans are also part reptile? Perhaps no more than primates. Whether humans are a separate parallel creation or an offshoot of reptilians & primates, several questions remain officially unanswered throughout history.
