Timing is everything and sometimes synchronicity in a book, movie or TV production will partially foreshadow a similar event. That's what happened in or over Pennsylvania.
Fortunately, this wasn't an object big enough to wipe out a city or state. There was no physical impact with Pennsylvania and the planet in general.

The timing of Don't_Look_Up and The_China_Syndrome is uncanny & goes right into the nature of synchronicity. That's because less than a month after the release of Don't Look Up in December 2021, an object from space almost hits the earth. The_China_Syndrome was released in mid March 1979, then the Three_Mile_Island_accident occurred in late March 1979.
