Physicist Robert J. Nemiroff is onto something very interesting about time-travel research. Of course over the years, decades & centuries, various books & movies have been produced with direct & indirect time travel themes. Sometimes its as if the writers are able to see through time.
Long before the 2011_earthquake_and_tsunami hit Japan or the 2004_Indian_Ocean_earthquake_&_Tsunami there was The_Last_Wave movie in 1977. A mega-Tsunami is on its way to wash over Australia.

Rendezvous_with_Rama is a 1972 novel that uses 9-11 as a point when destruction from the sky arrives on earth in 2077.
