This has always been an interconnected media reference blog project. Although the data at times may seem to be presented in a linear form, this blog project can be read in any particular order. Occasionally, there are parallel or alternate postings & many of them intersect with each other throughout my other blogs. Some posts start with just a few words & links. Then later on, more data is added over the course of weeks, months or years.
In a way, DesertShapes became like a skyscraper with many of the floors in place, but parts of the overall structure remained under construction. There are several vacant levels or sections yet to be built & filled in. Las_Vegas is a good example of how various projects change or evolve from yesterday, today & tomorrow. Usually any type of writing & drawing undergoes many drafts or revisions. This applies to books, buildings & websites, etc.

There was a time when NYC and then Chicago were to have the worlds tallest buildings. Then some tall ones started up in the desert & other places & continue to get even taller.
