On May 11, the IBM website mentions Viswanathan Anand, who was born on December 11 & played in the Chess World Championship on top of the WTC on 9-11-1995.
"Viswanathan_Anand became India's first grandmaster in 1987. He met Garry Kasparov for the world championship in 1995 at the World Trade Center in New York. Kasparov retained the title, but Anand remains one of the world's elite chess players."
