The idea of reincarnation is such a fascinating thing to research. Eventually advanced 3D computer scenarios will be able to connect & depict more of the dots. Opening further exploration into the concept of the akashic records. The Sims allow people to pretend be be other people through a digital representation.
Of course this & other worlds can be represented in computer programs. Its quite a process to go from SimEarth to the Earth Simulator system, or from Simulacron-3 to SimCity & The_Thirteenth_Floor.
In the movie Donnie_Darko, the main character goes back 4 weeks in time, apparently into another timeline. Then as the main character in the movie Source_Code, his mind is linked to an undamaged body in another timeline, by way of a secret quantum temporal experience program. The Quantum_Leap_TV_series provided a depiction of a persons mind temporally being overlapped into another persons mind. Its all variations of the walk-in concept and research into the nature of consciousness.

Grace Wing grew up to be a Slick singer & flew with an Airplane band. Then almost 2 dozen years after first Taking Off, they made a reunion album. Planes, the 1st song on it is about a boy that has an intense fascination with aircraft. Not all parents or cultures are open to the concept & implications of reincarnation. However in spite of that, several kids are fascinated with history, technology, airplanes & starships.
