After September 2001 there seemed to be more awareness of beaded violence, especially presented by the Western media. However, there was a much earlier & direct incident of bearded violence in the September of 1297.

Some how this 9-11 Scottish monument area ended up with a temporary connection to the word, FREEDOM. Eventually the statue & its word were removed from the memorial site.
